DOI: 10.1002/elps.202200149 The cover picture shows how capillary-channeled polymer (C-CP) fibers are applied in a spin-down tip format to isolate pure, concentrated populations of exosomes and other extracellular vesicles (EVs) from human embryonic kidney (HEK) cell culture media. Exosomes/EVs vehicles intercellular communication, containing genetic protein contents the mother cell. Beyond being fundamental biological interest having promise clinical diagnostics, exosomes/EVs evolving as key biotherapeutic delivery vectors, with HEK cells promising primary source. Successes here on analytical scale portend future use C-CP preparative towards vector production.
